Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn. ~ John Muir

Jena, Micah & Sage ~ Christmas 2009

Hello there! My name is Jena, and I am from Central Wisconsin, and yes I am a 100 % dedicated Packer fan (Brewers too!)

Let me take a few minutes here to introduce myself and share my journey of life in a brief summary! Granted, my life started out pretty darn tiny, yet have had a miraculous life for 33 years now, and still loving it!! I am thoroughly enjoying 2010, as it is a new decade, new beginning and a whole lot of adventures to cherish and be made.  With family, friends, and even with 2 precious Golden Retreivers, Sage and Micah.  Specifically, as I will be going on an amazing vacation for 3 weeks in May, to the beautiful state of Alaska. I am focusing my time in preparing for this journey that will no doubt change my life for the better, and it already has!! I will be with my boyfriend, David, who is a professional photographer and an incredible person who has blessed my life with a newfound happiness! His wealth of knowledge in photographing landscapes, wildlife and capturing the famous Alpenglow in and around Alaska’s rugged and diverse beauty is just astounding. Please take a moment to visit his website, and you won’t be disappointed, I promise!

My love for nature, landscapes and both sunset/sunrises have always been a passion for me in photography, ever since I picked up my first camera back in high school. When I have the chance to go out into the field and shoot, I will do whatever it takes. I’m very particular in what I’d like to capture in terms with the light, colors, depth, and composition in my images. I am working on being more flexible in that account, but what is important to me is what is being presented through my own eyes and creativity. I can take 100 pictures of the same thing, and yet eliminate all but 10…quality is what drives in the WOW factor. As stated before, I’m a nature girl at heart, I do what I can to help preserve its beauty, learn and research on our present day environmental issues
